Indonesia! An IHF Fund Raiser Indonesia! An IHF Fund Raiser - Saturday, May 30th ![]() Indonesia! will serve as an awareness and fund raising effort for the International Humanity Foundation, who will be set up to accept donations and contributions, as well as show how to help them in their mission to educate the poor and to educate the world about the poor.
Additionally, there will be a photo exhibit on site of pictures taken at one of the IHF orphanages in Indonesia, courtesy of the Framed With Hope project. You will be able to get a first hand glimpse of the life of the children through powerful images taken by those very children.
![]() The night's event will include amazing dances from Giri Nata performing Gamelan dances! Giri Nata is an ensemble that developed from the music and dance program at the Museum School in San Diego. The ensemble is lead by Dr. Alexander Khalil, an ethnomusicologist and long-time student of Balinese music, and Wuri Wimboprasetyo an expert in Balinese and Javanese dance traditions. We are also proud to have the Waworoendeng String Trio performing chamber music. The trio, based in Loma Linda, is an ensemble comprised of Alva, Jeremiah and Emerald Waworoendeng and has played as a group for the past five years. Previously members of the Southern California Young Artists’ Symphony, they specialize in high quality music with a repertoire that includes the finest classical selections, popular Broadway plays, and romantic themes from the big screen. ![]() Bali Thai Cafe will be providing a taste of Indonesian cuisine! Bali Thai Cafe is located at 407 Camino Del Rio South, San Diego, CA 92108. From curious first timers to devoted diehards, their flavorful Thai and Indonesian dishes have garnered many accolades! Pre-register for only $25 and you will be entertained by music and dances, as well as have a taste of the finest of Indonesian cuisine! The event cost will be $30 at the door, so pre-register to save and get more! All proceeds from this event will go to the International Humanity Foundation.
