Who You Callin' Apathetic!? is a group effort fronted by Meghan Grunow of Halcyon Spiral. Instrumental in making this special Earth Day event come together are Tower 3 Productions, Red and White Music, Loud is Relative, and Silk Road Productions.
The event will coincide with the nationally organized stepitup. Step It Up, the largest the largest day of citizen action focusing on global warming in our nation’s history. It is a nationwide campaign comprised of over 800 actions being held on April 14, 2007 as part of a National Day of Climate Action. And despite the varied backgrounds of the participants and the uniqueness of each event, they are united in delivering a critical message: For Congress to put America on a course to cut carbon emissions 80% by 2050.

There will also be a benefit portion for the San Diego chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. The Surfrider Foundation is a grassroots, non-profit, environmental organization that works to protect our oceans, waves, and beaches. Founded in 1984, Surfrider Foundation's most important coastal environmental work is carried out by Surfrider Foundation's 60 chapters located along the East, West, Gulf, Puerto Rican, and Hawaiian coasts.
The last beneficiary of this day of excitement is the San Diego Youth & Community Services (SDYCS), a nationally recognized, comprehensive non-profit organization that has helped stabilize the lives of more than a half-million young people and their families since 1970. Every day they work to fight the tragedies of homeless youth and youth in crisis. They administer programs from seventeen Centers located throughout San Diego County.
